At Maharaja Restaurant YYC, our story is one of tradition, patience, and respect for the craft of Indian cooking.
Established in 2007, Maharaja was founded with a clear purpose — to preserve and present the richness of India’s culinary heritage. Inspired by the elegance of royal kitchens and the depth of flavours found in traditional Indian homes, our journey has always been guided by authenticity.
Every recipe we serve is shaped by time.
Not rushed. Not altered for trends.
But refined through years of experience and care.
We toast and grind our spices daily in-house, creating vibrant flavors you can taste in every bite. This extra step makes even familiar dishes taste noticeably better.
Our signature dishes simmer for hours, not minutes. This traditional approach develops deep, rich flavors that quick-cooking simply can’t match.
Our dining space combines sophisticated design with thoughtful touches from the ambient lighting to our curated music selection. The result is an environment that enhances your meal and makes every occasion feel special.
Our menu is thoughtfully curated to reflect the diversity of Indian flavours from street-style favourites to refined royal preparations.
Starters inspired by Indian street food, offering bold flavors, light spices, and quick bites.
Fusion dishes combining Indian spices and Chinese styles, offering savory flavors and familiar favorites.
Signature dishes inspired by royal Indian traditions, offering deep flavors and balanced spices.
